What you agree to when you use WANDA.
These are the same terms the WANDA app shows you. WANDA is a client — you supply the agent it talks to, and these terms say what that means for both of us.
These terms govern your use of the Wanda AI application. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What Wanda is
Wanda is a client application. It converts your speech to text on your device, sends that text to an AI agent server that you configure, and speaks the replies back to you.
We provide the app. We do not provide the AI agent, and unless you were told otherwise by whoever gave you the connection details, we do not operate the server your messages are sent to, and we have no control over the answers it returns.
Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. Provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else. You are responsible for activity under your account.
We may suspend or close an account that is used in breach of these terms.
Connecting to an agent
You choose which agent server to pair with and supply its address and access token. By doing so you confirm you are authorised to use that server. You are responsible for complying with the terms of the server's operator and of any underlying AI provider it relies on.
If the server presents a self-signed certificate, the app will trust it for that host so you can connect to your own infrastructure. You accept the risk that comes with trusting a certificate that no public authority has verified.
Acceptable use
Do not use Wanda to:
- break any law, or infringe anyone's rights;
- generate or distribute content that sexually exploits children, incites violence, or harasses or threatens a person;
- access a server or account you are not authorised to use;
- probe, overload, or interfere with the app or any connected service;
- reverse engineer the app except to the extent the law permits despite this restriction.
AI-generated content
Replies come from an AI model and may be wrong, incomplete, biased, or outdated. Do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and verify anything that matters before acting on it. You are responsible for how you use what the assistant produces.
Speech recognition also makes mistakes. Check transcriptions before sending them somewhere that matters.
Your content
You keep all rights to what you type and say. We claim no ownership of it, and we do not use it to train models. Because your messages are sent to a server you configure, the operator of that server determines what is retained there.
Availability
The app is provided as-is and may change, or be interrupted, without notice. Voice features depend on your device's processing capability, and connectivity to your agent server depends on that server and your network — neither is something we guarantee.
Disclaimer and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the app or of any agent server you connect to. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Termination
You may stop using Wanda at any time by deleting the app. You can also delete your account outright from Settings → Account → Delete account, which removes your account record and the app's data on that device permanently; see the Privacy Policy for exactly what that erases. We may terminate access if you breach these terms. The sections on your content, disclaimers, and liability survive termination.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version and the date they were last updated are shown at the bottom of this screen. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
